The Doctor attended Loyola College in Maryland, where he attained his Bachelor of Science in biology. Volunteering at Baltimore area hospitals (Johns Hopkins, Union Memorial, and GBMC) and through his education at Loyola College, he decided to become a chiropractor to help people without the use of drugs or surgery, a natural approach. The Doctor attended Life Chiropractic College West in San Francisco, CA. There he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Furthering his education through Palmer College of Chiropractic Institute for Professional Advancement, he received his certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.

The Doctor has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP). This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The CCSP accreditation exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a minimum level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine. The Doctor joins over 3,500 others internationally who hold this designation.

The Doctor has also completed Modules 1& 2 of the Graston Technique, resulting in the Doctor''s certification as a Graston Technique Practitioner. This is a new examination and treatment procedure for the management of musculoskeletal complaints. Graston Technique was developed to aid in the treatment of patients who are experiencing pain and loss of function as a result of injury, cumulative stress disorders, automobile accidents, and following some surgical procedures. The Technique enables the doctor to effectively break down adhesions and scar tissue that forms between muscle fibers. The Technique makes use of scientifically designed stainless steel instruments that detect and treat tissue restrictions that result in pain and dysfunction.

The Graston Technique has been used by the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and many other professional (NFL, NBA, MLS, MLB, PGA Tour) and top university sport programs throughout the country. He is also certified in the use of the cold laser in the state of Maryland. The Erchonia Medical Cold Laser is used to help individuals with their health by accelerating healing and pain reduction. The cold laser is used by Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods, NY Jets, KC Chiefs and many other athletes around the country. Using these tools, the Doctor has had great success in treating local athletes, excelling in amateurs with tennis/ golf injuries and professionals from Real Maryland FC, Crystal Palace USA FC, and the DC United Soccer teams.

The Doctor took part in the 2007 Mountain Dew Pro Action Sports Tour held at Camden Yards. The Panasonic Open is the first of many challenges held across the country. This sporting event consisted of skateboard, BMX, and FMX (freestyle motocross) competitions. Congratulations to the Doctor for being a part of the athlete medical staff.
