In my opinion, nearly the worst back and neck pain cases that present to our office have stated they were in an auto accident several years prior to entering our office. When in the unfortunate auto accident, it is almost a must to visit a chiropractor. Usually the neck and back muscles stiffen up after the accident. This is actually a good thing at the time of the accident because it helps to protect the spine. However, most times these muscles never loosen up and they begin to change your posture over time. This leads to the neck and back pain later in life. This is why it is very important to receive chiropractic care soon after an accident to stop this epidemic from occurring.

Medicine does not perform the same manner in actually correcting the alignment of the spine, which is improving posture. Remember, you do not have to have pain to go see a chiropractor because these symptoms may appear later. Chiropractic does help in allowing the body to heal due to the injuries from an auto accident.
